| Features & Applications: |
- Aluminum:
- Lightweight and economical. Good abrasion resistance. Fair corrosion and chemical resistance.
- Use with water, hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline, and petroleum products.
- Ductile Iron:
- Excellent abrasion and wear resistance. Good strength and toughness characteristics.
- Ideal for use with sand, grout, cement, and other abrasives.
- Stainless Steel:
- Excellent corrosion-resistant material that provides high strength at high temperatures, helps prevent contamination of product being transported, maintains cleanliness and retains a lustrous appearance. Harder than brass.
- Ideal for use with salt water, waste water, and many chemicals; can also be used with hydraulic oil and coolants.
